Northwest Animal Hospital Donates Vet Services to Plymouth Police K-9s
Northwest Animal Hospital is proud to announce that we will be donating veterinary care to the Plymouth Police K-9 unit. Our hospital was founded on 6 core values: connected, respectful, giving back, positive, flexible and balanced. One way that Northwest Animal Hospital can give back is to donate our vet expertise to the K-9 unit. The K-9s and their partners offer an invaluable service to the community of Plymouth and we want to make sure that the dogs stay healthy so they can continue service to our community for years to come.
The city of Plymouth Minnesota currently has three active K-9 teams. Stryker and Knight are both black German Shepard Dogs and Odie is a Belgian Malinois. All three dogs are dual purpose dogs, meaning that they are used for narcotics detection and patrol work. We will be featuring more on each dog in the coming weeks.
We would like to thank the Plymouth Minnesota Police K-9 Unit for putting their trust in us. We look forward to working with these amazing dogs.
